The Protocol provides arbitration parties, lawyers and tribunals with suggested best practice procedural and logistical arrangements for the conduct of remote hearings. The Protocol is designed to ensure that remote hearings are organised and conducted in a fair, efficient, reliable and cost-effective manner, with enforceability of arbitral awards and confidentiality as key considerations.
